Personal site: for and against.

I think it is very important to have a personal site in the Internet. I have some arguments for this activity. First of all, I can show my creative works, tell other English teachers about my work with children, ask or answer some questions. Secondly, it is very interesting for me to learn some new information about methodic and preparing for lessons.

Thirdly, I live in a small town and have not many contacts with English teachers or Englishmen. That is why, sites in the Internet are very necessary and actually for me. I understand how important is for teachers to improve their skills and to communicate with each other. That’s more; site can be useful and important for personal development. A lot of articles have interesting and unique materials and can help me to organize my lessons better.

But I want to pay your attention on that it is a very serious and difficult work to make your own site. I have not so much free time for writing letters to my colleges every day.

To sum up we should to follow  the demands of our modern time.

    To my mind creating a personal web site is the best opportunity to improve your knowledge and to raise your educational level. On the one hand, a personal web site is designed for the publication of personal information. In contrast to the publication on the public sections, I can create any material and publish it on my own site. I can change, edit it and no one except me can do anything.  What is more, on a personal website, I can create photo galleries, file archives, blogging, and keep track of what's happening in the lives of my friends.

      Therefore, the text information on my web site should be useful and understandable to the public. They should be concerned the requirements of new technology that can make effective progress.

For example, I  write fiction stories, drawing illustrations for them and want that people have known about my abilities. Through the Internet is more and more easier to find people who will share my interests.  Although there will be many competitors.

On the other hand, it’s not a secret that anyone comes to the website for information.  I am afraid that some people may copy out my information and publish it as their own.

       To sum up, I want to say that personal web site has both advantages and drawbacks. I am sure we should not reject personal site for the bad effect it might has. On the contrary, we must learn how to make the best of it.

 Should I create my personal site ? I'm not sure that I'd like it but in's necessary.  Of course, I am fascinated by the ability to communicate with those who are far away from me. Sometimes I can use it for doing everyday routine tasks. And I really need it for my professional skills. But I don't think I'd be very good at it. No doubt  personal site has the potential to carry my views and words all over the world, but I don't want to lock myself in my room and spend a lot of time in front of my computer.  My work in the internet makes me more impatient, so I expect an instant reply. Sometimes I get nervous because of it. Another words ,  this theme has positive and negative aspects. Besides , what about my health?  I always look tired and have a pale face when  I spend more than two hours in front of my computer.  And I ask myself: "Do I really need it?" And I answer : " I  have to..."
