What is my Mom?
She is warmth and kindness.
What is my Mom?
She is strictness and mildness.
She is gentle arms and a tender voice.
She is very pretty hand-made toys.
She’s a smiling face and big grey-blue eyes,
She is a lot of jam and tasty pies.
She’s big apples for me on cold winter days
And a fancy costume highly praised.
She is berries and mushrooms from summer forest,
She’s nice fairy-tales and thought of stories.
She’s hot-water bottles when I was ill
And tablets in jam ‘cause I didn’t like pills.
She is Easter eggs, so colourful and holiday
On officially banned great Easter Sunday.
She’s wisdom, tact and the open heart
She is people’s great respect and love.
She is my happy childhood and youth
She is always a lot of nice news.
She’s the example for me to follow
She’s my great love, my loss and my sorrow.
