No one is forgotten?

 

“No one is forgotten…” I know this expression.
Hearing about it, I prefigure a fray.
This phrase is connected with a procession,
Which is on the street on the 9th of the May.

Not so much time is passed, but today
People already start to forget
This unbelievable enormous prey,
Which our defenders made as a debt.

Almost for five unending years
Our grand-parents tried to survive,
Hoping that there is the end for their tears,
That Russia will win. It was their live.

So there is a question: how do we can
Simply forget about those soldiers
Who died for the country, exhausted, ran,
Trying to save their homes, wifes, and toddlers?

I don’t have an answer to such a question,
But I can swear with a confidence that
I won’t forget any part of aggression
And our victims of a fascist gat.
