The film “The Star”

Impressed me much,

I’ve never seen the one, the such!

 

It’s so real and so impressive!

It shows how fascists were very aggressive.

 

The group of moustachless boys

Went into enemy’s rear

They were to help our army

And mates didn’t have fear!

 

They wanted to live,

Be happy and fine,

To study or work,

Compose or fly.

But terrible thing – the War was begun!

 

The boys were too young,

The sons of their mothers.

They couldn’t stay at home

And followed after their fathers.

 

They did the best

To defend Motherland

And tried to defeat

The fascists to end!

 

They fullfilled the task

And paid  too expensive!

The fight was too hard,

The fascists aggressive!

 

The hand of the death

Was cruel and heartless!!!

The boys were burnt in the hay-loft  alive…

 

My soul was crying, I burst into tears…

How many of you we have lost in the war, our dears!

 

Veterans…

Every year they are fewer and fewer

Their heads are white, their eyes are pure.

Their hearts still beat

And we are glad the veterans to meet!

 

May your memory live for ever!!!

I want you be forgotten never!!!
