The village of Konstantinovo
That was near Ryazan.
One great poet was born here
So pure and so Russian.
Green grass blanket was his clothes.
At the early age of eight or nine
He started writing verses
Which were very fine.
Then he lived in Moscow
And went for a wedding trip abroad
But his native home
Was always in his Russian soul.
He loved his Russia deeply,
He thought about Russian people.
He returned back home quickly
And about Russia was his dream.
He is our love I know it.
He believed that there, s no poet
Without a homeland
Forever for us is his talent.
