The Victory Day
The fireworks at night are shining bright
The weather seems warm, it’s not cold.
Please, remember tonight
How the heroes of the War were fighting hard
With the passion of Russian spirit!
Young and brave,
And full of Christian light,
They were fighting days and nights.
While their mothers and wives were crying
And praying for their lover’s to have courageous heart.
During those four sad and painful years,
Many valiant lives were lost
Our Ministers, today please say fervent prayers
To keep calmness in our soldiers` souls.
They were doing it for honor,
Freedom, love and peace were their aims.
They fought to conquer the force of evil power,
To see happiness on our faces!
And all of you today remember, please,
About such important things!
Present red carnations to veterans,
Give them loving warm hearted hugs,
And listen attentively to their memories
They must be really proud
On Russian land there is Russian flag!
