St. George Ribbon
This poem is about the ribbon,
At a glance it's just a piece of fabric.
It praises warriors for aeon
And stirs emotions as it's magic.
This tape is a banner, an important award,
The order has been blessed in church.
Its name resounded through the world
‘cause it was called after Saint George.
It's especially important for people,
Who are regarded as courageous soldiers.
Who are alive and who are in dimple:
Eternal glory to all of the warriors!
The colors have significance.
Everyone has its own meaning.
Black means smoke, and then, at once,
Orange is the fire gleaming.
This little thing is able to
Drive to tears the steadfast people.
They recall the sullen mood -
To forget war is not simple.
