Victory Day.
It’s wonderful! Today we have the Victory Day!
And that’s why, we are merry and gay,
And that’s why, we laugh and play!
All the children are happy today,
Because the war is far away!
The grass is growing fast,
The flowers are very nice,
The sun is shining brightly,
The birds are flying highly!
In our school the bell rings,
And holiday party soon begins.
The veterans have come to meet us,
And we are together in our class.
We talk about the war and the fight,
The memories of veterans are very bright.
They suffered greatly during the war,
But saved the people and the world.
Veterans, dear, be happy today!
Let your sorrow go away!
