But time is merciless. It’s going…
The beginning of May –
There are red pinks around.
It happened on a fantastic day –
The native Victory was found.

There are so many veterans, and now
They stay and smile, and cry…
And everyone can come for them to bow
For their exploits. Nobody asks them “why”.

Why did they save all our lives
And why protect all our towns?
They only want to see in future our smiles,
And everywhere to hear the solemn sounds.

But time is merciless. It’s going…
They become more and more forgotten…
The hidden orders and medals are lying…
For our children they unknown often…

The War’s disappearance is not so near…
Those years were the millions of tragic stories…
And let’s remember the people’s bravery and fear…
And those who left their own souls…
