Mother’s day
My mum was once a girl like me,
She had a mum as well,
That was as busy as a bee,
As everyone can tell.
The girl grew up as years passed,
And now she has two kids.
She gives us all she can and must,
But even puts some lids.
And I will be a mother too
And also have a child.
I’ll give him all that I can do,
To keep him smart and mild.
And now I want to say some words
To our mothers. They
Should smile and sing like pretty birds
On such a lovely day!
