Let’s remember

 

There was the war

The people died

The soldiers fought

And mothers cried.

 

They all were brave,

Saving their land

They killed the enemies

For some of them it was the end.

 

A lot of troubles, blood and pain

And awful noises, and deaths

They tried to hide or run away,

But couldn’t find any places.

 

They reached Berlin.

They won in May.

Some stayed alive

To have the Victory Day.

 

Now we’re happy to live

And to have peaceful skies

There’re no more cries

You can see children’s smiles.

 

It’s our aim to live in peace

And don’t forget that war

They saved our Earth

Not to have troubles anymore.
