Personal site: pros and cons

There is hardly a person in the world who would argue that Internet is an important, convenient and available means of communication. Besides, Internet contains the greatest variety of information that can be used in everyday life, education and work. So, considering that all, Internet really makes different spheres of our life easier, doesn`t it?

It does! And the same thing can be mentioned when we speak personally about our own sites. They really make the process of communication open for colleagues from one and the same sphere of work - from our sphere, the sphere of education. Personal sites help to share ideas, our own achievements or raise important questions in the attempt to find the truth. Moreover, personal sites give an excellent opportunity for education letting to use some interesting resources of information. All these are surely pros of creating personal sites, and there are quite a number of them.

We all know that everything has not only pros but also CONS. What are the cons of personal sites? First, we can`t get access to the net everywhere we want. Second, some people are not quite correct when expressing ideas. As a result, they just "litter" the information field. Third, when we spend too much time using the site, we may not appear to do our work  up to the level.

All in all, creating a personal site is surely an interesting and useful experience for every teacher!
