Сонет (итал. sonetto, окс. sonet) — твёрдая поэтическая форма: стихотворение из 14 строк, образующих 2 четверостишия и 2 трёхстишия.

My granny.

Oh, my dear, dear grandmother

I love you very, very much

We discuss all the problems together

And your heart all my troubles touch.

Your kind blue eyes look deep in my soul

And your soups, chops and cakes are tasty on the whole

Live, be healthy, wealthy and wise

Till your hundredth anniversary arrives.

You look very kind and shy

But you can do everything very well. Why?

Oh, I don’t know – why?

May be we are so dear to you

Oh, my granny! I can’t live without you!

And I always say «Thank You»!
