  • Encouraging a high standard of social and moral behaviour

2.    We will encourage a high standard of learning in each child by:

Inclusion: EVERY CHILD MATTERS

Our school is committed to providing all pupils with an education that offers equal opportunities and which enables every child to achieve their full potential academically, socially, emotionally and physically. For this to be achieved every child will receive the same educational opportunities regardless of gender, age, ethnic background and culture, religion, ability, disability or socio-economic circumstances. Our children are taught to value diversity and be tolerant of others.

Behaviour and Discipline
Relationships within the school are based on mutual respect, both between adults and pupils and between the children themselves. There are very few major infringements of our expectations of pupils in terms of their behaviour. Where children persistently misbehave however, parents are contacted and encouraged to work closely with staff to try and overcome the difficulties their children may be experiencing. An individual programme is developed to support the child.
Discipline is based on the approach that children have a right to learn and teachers have a right to teach. This approach is based on fairness, together with a consistent positive recognition of good behaviour.

Health and Welfare Issues

We believe that full and regular attendance at school is a vital factor in achieving a successful education. Authorised absence is recorded for illness, medical appointments and special circumstances. We do request that parents notify school on the first morning of any absence, otherwise the school will phone you at home. When your child returns to school parents should also send in a letter of explanation for the absence.

School Uniform

We encourage our pupils to take a pride of their appearance. The colours of school uniform are blue, green, black, golden and white.

Hello,

My name is Alexander Libanov. I'm a student of the 6th "G" of school No 1 in the village of Poykovsky.. Our school is modern and well-equipped. Computers and interactive whiteboards are frequently used during the lessons.. I'm fond of studying at school. My favourite subjects are Maths, English, Physics and Information Technology.. We also have lessons of Logic, where we try to solve logical problems in Mathematics.

Poykovsky is situated in West Siberia that means that often in winter we have frosty and windy weather. If children live far from school, they can stay at home and learn all the necessary material themselves.

Our class is very friendly and active. We always help each other. The students of our class wear a uniform. The colours of our class are blue, white, white and black. We take an active part in different contests, actions and competitions. Our class teacher's name is Zinfira Rizvanovna. She is a teacher of English, that's why English is our favourite subject. I need English for my future profession. All the teachers of our school are friendly, kind and helpful.

A lot of my classmates are the winners of different contest, competitions and Olympiads. So am I.

I really enjoy studying at our school.

•    усилить мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
•    способствовать практическому владению речевой деятельностью;
•    увеличивать активный языковой (лексический) запас учащихся;
•    стимулировать в целом их интеллектуальную и языковую активность;
•    расширить общий кругозор школьников и повышать культурный уровень;

talent show

Лучшим в номинации «Английская поэзия» стал ученик 6а класса Асиман Алиев, который декламировал стихотворение Роберта Бернса “My Heart’s in the Highlands”

В номинации «Английская песня» победила ученица 10а класса Мочеброда Кристина, исполнившая песню “I’m not a girl” из репертуара Бритни Спирс.
